(You can tell by the amount of hours I've put in during the last week). It's only natural to give back. Being a staff member is a way to show my gratitude for this server, and it's inhabitants. 8. What can you tell us about yourself? - I have played football for 9 of my 17 years alive. You are probably asking, "What the hell does football have to do with this?". I'll tell you. As most know, playing a sport takes time and dedication. Playing for the majority of your life is another level of dedication. I have brought this dedication everywhere I have gone, and this won't change now. 9. Previous staff experience - None regarding Garry's Mod 10a. Explain what RDM is -  RDM is a [u]R[/u]andom [u]D[/u]eath [u]M[/u]atch. If someone engages in combat with someone else randomly, that would be RDM. Another variation being MRDM, [u]M[/u]ass RDM. This is when someone comes on the server, with the sole intention of killing others randomly for their enjoyment. 10b. Explain what Metagaming is -  Metagaming is using outside knowledge for your own good. For example, lets say you are assigned ground control for an event. Lets also say that you have a buddy who is a GM. If your buddy gives you any information on the task at hand, setting, future events, ect, and you use it for your own good, this is known as metagaming. 10c. Explain what a minge is -  Minging is acting in a way to negatively impact someone's RP experience. Trolling, not following orders, ect. Minging is a widespread, and frowned upon act in the community. 10d. Explain what FailRP is - Fail RP is the failure of someone to do their job, or act realistically . For example, if a trooper jumps into the moon-pool this would be fail RP. Come on, what trooper would kill themselves by jumping into a moon-pool... 11. How would you impact our community? (Minimum 5 Sentences) My role of a staff member would be to protect the server, and the enjoyment of the server's players. Whether this be training new recruits, or banning someone who has just killed everyone in the lobby. Giving back to those who have made this enjoyable to me is only one way I can contribute to this server. Being a staff member, I know that I would be a snapshot of what the server really is, But god damn I'm gonna make that snapshot the best there is. I would count myself as a role model, not in a way that the Marshal Commander is. I would be someone who stands to protect the players of the server, and make sure that they have the best time possible playing on Titan Forge. 12a. Give three examples of ULX commands - !kick, !armor, !noclip for chat. For console, ulx kick (Steam ID) ect. You get the point. 12b. How well can you perform under pressure? [1-10] - 8.5, I don't typically let pressure get to me. The situation will be calm, and orderly while I am in control. 12c. How patient are you? [1-10] - 10, I am a very patient person. Don't take this the wrong way, [u]I will not go lightly on those who are deserving.[/u] 13a. A player is accused of RDM. What do you do? - Get eyewitness accounts first, then check logs. Have a sit with the person, and give a warning. If this doesn't stop them, take further actions to prevent this from happening. 13b. A player is minging. What do you do? - Have a sit with them, if that solves the problem, great! If not, warn. Then keep progressing down the line, until they either stop, or are gone. 13c. A player is cheating. What do you do? - Freeze the player if possible, if not, kick while we can check logs and get witness accounts. Once we have proof of cheating, ban. [b][u]Cheating will not be tolerated on this server.[/u][/b] 13d. A player is mic spamming. What do you do? - It depends on the content of what is being said. If derogatory terms, racist terms, ect, are being used, more serious actions need to be used. On the other hand, if someone is playing music, yelling, ect, I would have a sit with them. If it continues, mute/gag, and go from there. 13e. A player is spamming chat. What do you do? - Same as before, it depends on what is being spammed. For example, if someone is spamming racial slurs, ect in the chat, more intense actions must be used. If someone is promoting, or any other non-harmful mic spam, I would have a sit with them. If it doesn't stop, mute/gag. Moving down the line until they understand that we are to be taken seriously. 14. Do you have any VAC or Game ban(s) on record? - Never. 15. Doing so will result in your application being denied! - You are not above anyone else if you are accepted! You will still take part in the community and are still expected to do what you are told by your superiors! - You CAN and WILL be removed from your position if you abuse your powers or break rules! - Being accepted does not win you a spot closer to my heart! You will respect the players and staff of Titan Forge and you WILL be expected to do more than the average player! - You are to be active at least 3 or 4 days during the week! With some training and encouragement, I believe that Merak would be a great addition to the staff team. I think my favorite part of his application was how he said he would impact the community: "[i]I would be someone who stands to protect the players of the server, and make sure that they have the best time possible playing on Titan Forge." [/i]I believe the player is the #1 priority as a staff member, not just whitelisting people and banning minges, and I think his statement sums it up nicely.[/size]

He has proven on multiple occasions that he can be trustworthy and responsible. Yet, both in and out of character are the same in his instance, I am curious on how he'd be as a staff member and to hopefully live to his word.[/size][/color]
